EPI was the exclusive flooring supplier for award-winning project ‘The Gasholders’. In the heart of Kings Cross, the largest urban redevelopment plan of Europa, you will find this enormous industrial heritage project. In the frames of the historic gasholders, the renowned architect agency WilkinsonEyre Architects, has developed three residential buildings. Within these buildings they have realised over 145 apartements and penthouses. Residents have access to a private fitnessarea and spa, a businesslounge and an entertainment area with film theatre, a reception and a private diningroom.

Jonathan Tuckey Design

145 distinctive canalside apartments and penthouses, built within a refurbished triplet of grade 11-listed, cast-iron gasholder guide frames at the heart of King’s Cross. The interior design has been beautifully fashioned and crafted by Jonathan Tuckey Design, with unique and bespoke details and a rich palette of materials. As of the floor, he choose for EPI.

Interior

Each apartment has its own design and look & feel. Unique and striking details and many different materials have been used to make each apartment its own. An attempt has been made to integrate the mechanical and industrial character of the building into the interiors in an elegant way. Much use was made of industrial materials such as resin, steel, brass, wood and concrete. EPI Superbase self levelling floors have been chosen for most apartments.
